Essential Question:"The tour operators decided to rent bicycles for their customers rather than having customers bring their own bikes. They called two bike shops and asked for estimates of rental fees.

Big Idea: The observation and description of changes in the world just part of find the patterns around us.



Rocky's Cycle Center sent a table of weekly rental fees for various number of bikes.

Adrian's Bike Shop sent a graph of their weekly rental fees. Since the rental fees depends on the number of bikes, they put the number of bikes on the x-axis.

Notes From Class:
Income – Cost = Profit
Cost-the amount of money to need to spend on things like food, drinks, etc.
Income=money that you earn.
Profit=the amount of money left after all the costs of running a business has been subtracted from the money earned.






A. Which bike should Ocean and History Bike Tours choose? Explain your choice.
Ocean and History Bike Tours should use both because if they only have a small amount of people for one tour they should use Adrian's Bike Shop because it is cheaper. If they have a big amount of people they should use Rocky's Cycle Center because it is cheaper. It really all depends on the amount of people they have.

B. Explained how you use the information in the table and the graph to make your decision.
I just compared the differences between each piece of data.
